Mylocort Cream contains hydrocortisone 1% and is used for the temporary relief of itching associated with minor skin irritations due to eczema, insect bites, poisonous plants, soaps, detergents, cosmetics, jewellery, seborrhoeic dermatitis and for the relief of itching and swelling in the rectum and anus, ulcerative colitis of the rectum, hemorrhoids, bloody diarrhea, rectal pain, intestinal problems and other conditions. Mylocort Cream may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Mylocort Cream works by preventing the formation, activity and release of different cells and chemicals causing skin problems.
MYLOCORT CREAM CONTAINS:
- each 100g contains 1,0g hydrocortisone acetate.
- contains 0,1% chlorocresol as preservative.
HOW TO USE MYLOCORT CREAM:
- Always follow the instructions contained in the information leaflet provided.
- Hydrocortisone should be applied to the affected area up to four times a day until improvement occurs, when the frequency of application may be reduced.
WARNINGS:
- For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. If condition worsens, or if symptoms persist for more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days, stop use of this product and consult a doctor.
- Do not use in children under the age of two.
- Do not use in children under the age of 12 years for indications pertaining to genital and anal use.
- Do not use this product for cosmetic purposes.
