Panado Paracetamol 500mg tablets is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever caused by headaches, toothache, earache, joint pain and pains associated with colds and flu. It is relief you can trust for the whole family.

Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic properties. It acts predominantly by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis.

Following oral administration, paracetamol is well absorbed, with peak plasma concentrations obtained after 0,5 to 1 hour. The plasma half-life is about 2 hours. Plasma protein binding is variable. Paracetamol is metabolised in the liver primarily by conjugation with glucuronic acid (about 60 %), sulphuric acid (about 35 %) and cysteine (about 3 %). Paracetamol is renally excreted primarily as conjugated metabolites.

• Paracetamol (500 mg)
• Potassium Sorbate as preservative (0,12% m/m)

HOW TO USE PANADO HEADACHE TABLETS:

• Adults: 1 or 2 tablets repeated every 3 – 4 hours if necessary, but not more than 8 tablets to be taken in any 24 hour period.
• Children 9 – 12 Years: 1 tablet repeated every 3 – 4 hours if necessary, but not more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period.
• Do not use continuously for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor.
